THE OIDA and THE EIDS
The OIDA is the Oakville Irish Dance Association and it oversees the
development of social and fundraising activities for the Oakville
location of Goggin-Carroll.

Similarly, the Emerald Irish Dance Society is the parents association
for the Windsor location.
In each case, the groups help to arrange Christmas parties, summer
picnics and barbeques, pub nights, chocolate sales, spirit-wear (logoed
clothing) sales, bus trips to distant competitions, dance-outs (not only
for St. Patrick's day but for weddings and private parties) and our
signature annual events - the World fundraising dinner dances (one in
each location).
These groups take a considerable amount of planning and organization
away from the teachers and are an integral part of building the fun and
highly social community here
at Goggin-Carroll.
